Pet boarding

Your pet stays overnight at the sitter’s home.

What this service covers

Boarding means your pet stays in the sitter’s own home while you are away — sleeping, eating and being walked on their usual routine, in a household rather than a kennel. Sitters list how many pets they take at a time, whether they have a yard, other pets or children, and which sizes they accept.

How booking works

  1. 1

    Browse local sitters

Filter the catalogue by this service, your dates and your city, and compare profiles, rates and reviews.

  2. 2

    Message before you book

Ask about the routine, the schedule and anything specific to your pet. Messages stay in the booking, so both sides keep the same instructions.

  3. 3

    Agree the schedule

Send a request with the dates and times you need. The sitter confirms, and each visit keeps its own slot in their calendar.

What it costs

No sitter has published a rate for this service yet. Prices appear here as soon as one does.

Payment for the service happens directly between the owner and the provider. Petlify does not process pet-care payments and does not provide payment protection at this stage.

Frequently asked questions

How long can a boarding stay be?
As long as you and the sitter agree. Most stays run from a single night to a couple of weeks; the sitter’s calendar shows the nights they are free, and the price is quoted per night.
What should I send with my pet?
Food, medication, a leash and anything that helps them settle — a bed or a familiar toy. Feeding times, medication and vet details go in the booking, so both sides have the same instructions in writing.
How is payment handled?
Petlify does not process payments for care services. The price shown is a quote calculated from the sitter’s own rates; you and the sitter agree how to settle it directly.
