What this service covers
A drop-in is a short visit to your home — usually around 30 minutes — to feed, refresh water, clean the litter tray, play, and check that everything is as it should be. It is the usual arrangement for cats and for dogs that are fine alone but need a break in the middle of the day.
How booking works
- 1
Browse local sitters
Filter the catalogue by this service, your dates and your city, and compare profiles, rates and reviews.
- 2
Message before you book
Ask about the routine, the schedule and anything specific to your pet. Messages stay in the booking, so both sides keep the same instructions.
- 3
Agree the schedule
Send a request with the dates and times you need. The sitter confirms, and each visit keeps its own slot in their calendar.
What it costs
No sitter has published a rate for this service yet. Prices appear here as soon as one does.
Payment for the service happens directly between the owner and the provider. Petlify does not process pet-care payments and does not provide payment protection at this stage.
Frequently asked questions
- How many visits a day do I need?
- One visit a day is common for a cat, two for a dog left alone all day. Book the visits you want and the sitter’s schedule reserves each of them separately.
- Do I have to be home?
- No — that is the point of the service. Agree in the booking how the sitter gets in and where the food, litter and leash are kept.
- How is payment handled?
- Petlify does not process payments for care services. The price shown is a quote calculated from the sitter’s own rates; you and the sitter agree how to settle it directly.
