Payment for the service happens directly between the owner and the provider. Petlify does not process pet-care payments and does not provide payment protection at this stage.
Frequently asked questions
- Does the sitter stay overnight?
- Yes — house sitting is an overnight service. Agree in the booking messages which nights the sitter is expected to be at the house and what time they arrive and leave.
- What about the house itself?
- Sitters commonly take in post, water plants and keep the place looking lived-in. Anything beyond pet care is between you and the sitter — put it in writing in the booking so it is not a surprise.
- How is payment handled?
- Petlify does not process payments for care services. The price shown is a quote calculated from the sitter’s own rates; you and the sitter agree how to settle it directly.
